she sells sea shells by the seashore

found alllll of these lovely jewelry design ideas today on wings hawaii.

I absolutely love their stuff... Check out their website and for even better photos go to their facebook.  I'm really into using lots of sea shells in my jewelry.  I think its so cool.  One of my favorites I'm excited to make is a cowrey shell ring.  ahhhh can't wait to start!

sleepy

wish i was napping in this...
i found this about a year ago when i was researching ways to make a small apartment cozier...now that I'm back in my old house with a new room, i'm thinking of ways to spice it up and make it funner to be living at home.  I think i'm gonna try this idea out now because it's my house so i can drill holes in the wall and such, and i couldn't do anything nearly as cool at my old apartment.  For the entire tutorial you just follow this link makeyourowncanopy.  Enjoy!

creative juices

Got back from a nice lunch with my good friend Ryan today.  After we had lunch and parted our seperate ways, I decided to stay in Ward a little longer and wander around the shops.  I stopped by Eden in Love and Cottage by the Sea.  Seeing all the pretty jewelry really makes me want to get my fingers dirty and start designing my own jewelry.  I would love to one day walk into a store and see my own jewelry for sale.  I feel like I have all the creative juices to do this and I really want to see to it that I make my dream a reality.  But, first things first!  I need to take some classes!  I think my best bet is going to be Bead It! in Kailua...they have a great selection of classes and I can't wait to get started!  Well hope everyone is having a great day!  It sure is a HOT one in HAWAII!!
